Selling Homes on the Internet

"Hi my name is Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to show you how to sell your house on the Internet. Let's go to www.craigslist.org, that's C R A I G S L I S T .org and it's defaulted me to the Nashville area because that's where I live around, but if you're from another state if you go to over here on the right, you'll see US states and you click on the state that you're from. So what we want to click on from here is under housing, let's select real estate for sale. Now this basically a listing of real estate that has been posted for sale, some cases by real estate agents and in other cases by people selling themselves. I'm going to click post here. Now I'm going to say that I'm offering housing. I'm going to choose the area, or the category rather, I'm going to click on real estate by owner. And now this will give me a little window where I can post information about my house. Let's say I'm going to sell my house for 200,000. I'm going to give it a title, great house in oaks and I'm going to say it's in Nashville. Now it's going to ask me to type in my e-mail address that anybody who is interested in this posting will be able to e-mail me but it will actually, it won't actually show your e-mail, it will show it as anonymous, basically house and then a bunch of random stuff at craigslist.org. So nobody actually gets access to your personal e-mail account unless you reply to their e-mail. I'm just going to say great house, dot dot dot dot. Just give some information about your house, square footage, number of rooms, information like that. And let's click on add and edit images and click on browse, it's a good idea if you're ever posting information about your house for sale or whatever that you post up pictures of it. I have a couple here, I'm just going to click on this one. There's a house and here's a picture of the kitchen and then give the information about where your house is located. Now once you're done, click continue and that's going to post up your posting on craigslist and craigslist is very popular, gets a lot of traffic so hopefully you'll get some bites off of this."
