"Hi my name is Dave Andrews. Today I am going to show you how to make a Flow chart in Microsoft Excel. Let's go to our computer and we'll click on the start button go to all programs. Let's go to Microsoft Office and we are going to click on Excel. Now within Excel, go to the insert tab and under shapes we are going to scroll down a little bit until we find flowchart. Now we are going to choose a process object which is basically a rectangle and I am going to click on it and I am going to draw a rectangle on my spreadsheet, let's right click on that rectangle and say edit text and this is going to be evaluate please. It is the process that we are flowcharting. Now go to insert again and we are going to add another shape and this time it is going to be a decision object which is this sort of square turned on its side type of thing and we'll drop it in to here and I am going to right click on it and edit it again and I am going to say good evaluation and make it a little bit longer. Now what we need to do is draw some arrows from the evaluate employees to the decision so I am going to go to insert, shapes and I am going to find some block arrows and I am just going to draw those between these objects. Now for a good evaluation we need decisions coming off it so I am going to have a downward pointing arrow that is my yes and right click on it and edit text and I am just going to type yes and I am going to insert another arrow that is going to be my no, right click on it and edit text and just type no. Now from here you can drop more processes based upon the decisions and basically if I grab a shape that is the process andI put it at the yes then it will be the results of a good evaluation upon this employee. Another one by no would be the results of a bad evaluation. My name is Dave Andrews and I have just showed you how to create a Flow chart in Microsoft Excel."
