"Hi my name is Dave Andrews. Today I am going to show you how to make a Flowchart on Microsoft Word. Let's go to our computer and we're going to open up Word by clicking on the start button. Let's go to All Programs. Let's find Microsoft Office and click on Word. This opens up Word and I'm going to go to the insert tab and in the illustration section you will see a shapes button, click on that there you will see a flow chart area. So I am going to drop a process into my flow chart which is the square item. I am going to add some text to it that says evaluate please because that is the process that we are flowcharting. I am going to make it blue and I'm going to drop a decision which is a little triangular box type of thing, going to insert shapes and let's use the decision item, put that right beneath it and scoot it over and I am actually going to make this one red and then coming out of that decision, actually I need to make that the decision and right click on it and say add test and say good evaluation with a question mark. That's going to be the decision that we're making. Now coming out of that I am going to draw a couple of arrows using the block arrow shape, this will be my yes and I am going to drop a down pointing arrow that's going to be my no. I also need a down pointing arrow going from the process to my decision, in order to have a complete flow chart. Now I am going to make my arrows black. Now right click on this one and this is going to be my yes so I am going to type the word yes again I will click this one and add text and say no on this one. I will make it black as well and make it a little bigger so you can see the words and then from there I am going to insert a couple more processes that will be the decisions that will be made based upon this flow chart. I want to put a rectangle there that will be a process that will be followed in that case and a rectangle here. It is that easy to create a simple flow chart in Microsoft Word. My name is Dave Andrews and I have just showed you how to create a flow chart on Microsoft Word."
