"In this segment, I will be talking to you about how to keep fruit fresh. Here is my simple rule that I pretty much give every client that I work with: plan, plan, plan. When you are fail to plan, you, when you fail to plan, you're planning to fail. Isn't that the key? So, plan, you know, within the next three to five days what kinds of fruits do you think you're going to want and just go get those so that way, you're getting them fresh from the grocery store and within the next three to five days, you know you're going to be consuming them so they're as fresh as possible and you're body really loves that. If for some reason, you can't, you want some extra stuff, my suggestion then would be remember where it comes from. Like a banana comes from a tropical place. I don't it wants to go in the fridge so store it in a nice room temperature. Get a really cool basket that the kids might, you know, pick out of and put it, you know, put it on the table. Oranges, the same thing. They come from a nice tropical place. They're on a tree. Store them at room temperature. They'll last a little bit longer. Clementine's also. And the only ones that I really suggest you could probably throw in the fridge are something like a strawberry, or blueberry, or raspberry, but other than that, most fruit keeps fresh right at room temperature, on the table. But really, the key to remember is just to plan your food and just buy it as you go. Every three to five days is perfect that way you know you're getting fresh, and no money goes to waste, and right now, we need to save all the money we can."
