My name is Josie Minks and I'm a labor and delivery nurse in Austin, Texas. I'm going to talk to you about the different kinds of deliveries. So first there's a vaginal delivery, and then there's C-sections, and there are several different kinds of C-sections depending on the incision that the doctor makes, and then there's a vacuum extraction delivery, which there's a certain type of device that the doctor puts on the scalp of the baby at the, at the vagin, at the vaginal wall when the baby is crowning and that is used when the woman is pushing and the doctor uses this vacuum to take the baby out, to push the baby out. And then, finally, there's a forceps delivery which the doctor uses a certain kind of forceps around the babies head and while the woman is pushing, the doctor pulls and the baby is born via forceps delivery and those are the types of deliveries.
