"Hello. This is Andrew Reynolds and today I'm going to show you how to make an overhand knot. Now this is a very simple knot, it can be used to start other knots, just as a basic simple knot just to hold something in place. So if you're tying it around an object you take the remaining, you know if the object was right around here, you take the remaining two ropes and basically all you have to do is take one hand over the other. It does not matter left or right. You just put it like that and just kind of pull tight until you have everything together. And that is a very introductory knot and it's called the overhand knot. There's not a whole heck of a lot to it, but also it's not a very secure knot, but if you were curious how to make an overhand knot that would be it. Thanks for watching."
