Being a personal trainer, one of the things I'm most concerned about with my clients is how much water they drink. It is very important to get the nutrients to the vital parts in your body to recover from exercise. Also to nourish cells. All our organs are surrounded and absorbed with water, so that's one thing that I always check with my clients, how much they are drinking. Each individual is always different. I like to get each of my clients to drink at least a gallon of water a day. Just because they're taking in protein and they're taking supplements and also they're an athlete, they're working out, they're putting their muscles to the test, we have to rehydrate for skin, hair, nails, joints, it is one of the most important supplements that I ever advise people to take. Each individual should drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water a day. And again, if you lift weights and you are an athlete, I would say 10 to 12 would be perfect. And always gauge yourself off thirstiness, headaches, sluggishness, those are all common signs of dehydration.
