Hi, this is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg, with Miami Dog Training in Miami, Florida. In this clip, we're going to talk about the stages of pregnancy in dogs. And of course, the first first stage or or pre-stage is a female going into heat. Usually, it's about a three week period what they're in heat, but there's only a certain time throughout that three week period where where they can conceive. In which case, the usually what the male dog does is he sniffs regularly to see if if they're ready, in fact, for breeding, and which point, he will mount when they're at that point. So, one of the first stages is the conception, and usually it's about two months from conception to birth, about sixty three days with most breeds. And you know, you'll see them going through their different stages, you know. They may lose their appetite. They may gain an appetite. They may, you know, kind of have an attitude, or you know, you're going to see their hormonal changes, and of course at it's usually not until just before birth that the milk is is starting to be produced so that the puppies, you know, have that milk for for themselves.
