Cleaning Tips for Fiberglass Showers

"Hi, I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to give you some cleaning tips for fiberglass showers. Two things you want to have on hand at all times for fiberglass showers are this stuff, which is Bar Keeper's Friend, and vinegar. If you mix about a cup of vinegar into a quart of water, this is what's going to help you rinse out your shower really well, and you know, when you do your weekly, your or bi-monthly cleaning, whatever it is, you want to use vinegar and water. The tough stains you want to sprinkle some Bar Keeper's Friend onto a sponge then use that to really, really scrub away any stains, hard water stains, soap scum, rust...Bar Keeper's Friend is awesome. And once you've done that and you've scrubbed it, you just want to give it a once over with the vinegar and water. Then wipe it away until you don't feel the grit of the Bar Keeper's Friend anymore. If you have white fiberglass, a white fiberglass shower, the corners and cracks are what are going to look the nastiest. They tend to get a little more mold and mildew and stains and the way you're going to prevent those, after you've scrubbed them all with the Bar Keeper's Friend is make a mixture of about a cap of bleach in a quart of water, the same size. Just one cup of bleach in there, and if you spray the corners and things like that, about once a week, or once every two weeks, it'll keep mold and mildew and stuff from growin' ba...growing back.
