How to Start a Psychic Business

"Well, I've had a few mez metaphysical stores in my time, and usually they were shoestring operations. I must say that the metaphysical type of people usually have such a heart for others that their finances aren't always their biggest priority. I will say I've supported my family my whole life with the gifts that have been brought to me, and with the financial contributions that I receive to do the work I do. As far as a psychic business goes I believe that somebody should be very skilled in what they're doing before they charge people money. If you have a psychic ability, the first thing I would do is I would work for others who already have a real base in metaphysics and are kind of your cover for you. I would start out; if I really want to pursue the psychic business and that's what I want to do I would start out with others who are open to teaching me how to develop the business. There are no two businesses alike. I never look at being a psychic as a business although it is my business. I will say that if you're a good psychic and a good reader they just keep comin' back. That's how you develop your business. There are different places around the country. When we were in Florida we had to have a psychic license. Unfortunately, that didn't mean you were a psychic. It just meant that you were fingerprinted, and that you were licensed to be a reader. There are some schools of metaphysics that will license you as a medium. Usually, there's many years involved and a lot of cost involved in some places. It's always best to check your local government; check your state government and see if there is a licensing involved. We always want to be of the highest integrity, and obey the laws of the land. Since I've done both and I've worked in various different situations there is everything from Disneyworld that hires psychics, that you can go and work, to the place where I work, The Center for the New Age which I consider one of the highest psychic places with the most intuitive people. There are small little metaphysical stores. If you want to pursue it as a business go and meet the owners. You have to usually interview with someone to show that you have the ability first and foremost. If you want to strike out on your own you check with the local laws, advertise, and hopefully, get a repeat business."
