OK, so how to compare IRA CD interest rates. Well, the CD's that you might invest in inside an IRA are the same as the CD's you would invest in outside of an IRA. So really, comparing the interest rates is going to be exactly the same as comparing interest rates you might use otherwise. The only limitations are going to be where you're getting your IRA from. It's either going to be a bank or a brokerage house, and then you'll have to look at their CD's and see what rates, interest rates they're offering, and then you can go to your other bank or brokerage house, or look online, and look at those interest rates as well. But if they offer and IRA, you'll be able to invest in the CD inside that money. Most commonly that's done at a bank, when people are using CD's inside, inside their IRA, but you can do that with a brokerage institution, so really, again, comparing those interest rates is really going to have nothing to do with the IRA, it's just going to be, that IRA's just a shell account for you. So, when you're comparing the rates, it's exactly the same as, as just looking blankly with, with out an IRA, that's, that's CD interest rates. So, you really have the full spectrum of CD's available to invest in.
