Hi, my name's Kayti Brosnan. I'm a registered nurse here in Austin, Texas, and the question is: What are some benefits to a nursing career? There's so many benefits to being a nurse. They kind of go in all directions. Some of the best benefits are a flexible schedule -- working just three days a week and having four off, or being able to align your own schedule with your schedule of life at home with your family. You're able to travel, meet new people, get paid really well. You're also really caring for patients in a time where they need love and gentle care. They need a wise person. Monitoring their labs and their vital signs. And you get to fill a role that not a whole lot of people ever get to do in their life. So a lot of the benefits can be in the category of salary or moving and advancing in your career, or just the feeling that you get after taking care of someone in a long night when they're not feeling good.
