My name is Josie Minks and I'm a labor and delivery nurse in Austin, Texas. I'm here to talk about some tips for a good pregnancy. I would recommend drinking lots of water. This can help develop the baby, keep you healthy, and also, by the time you're ready to deliver, it can eliminate any false contractions or false labor until you're ready for the real deal of delivery. I'd also recommend having a food based prenatal vitamin. These can absorb better than just your regular solid vitamins. I recommend resting appropriately and efficiently enough. I recommend exercising all the way until you're unable to, like if the baby's just too heavy, you can't go running. Then I would recommend going swimming. Continue to exercise throughout the entire pregnancy. I would recommend a balanced diet which includes mostly fruits and vegetables and I would recommend only gaining maybe 25-35 pounds during your pregnancy. This is appropriate in the growth and development of the baby. I would recommend reading books and preparing for the baby and I would also recommend resting in that last month as much as you can in preparing for the baby. These are some tips on having a healthy pregnancy.
