How to Charge a Phone Battery

"Hi, I'm Ben from The Cellphone Broker in San Jose, California, and today, I'm going to show you how to charge your cell phone battery. There are two ways to do this. The easiest and simplest way and what everybody knows how to do is to plug your charger into the wall and then plug it into your phone, and it'll start charging right away. Now, this is kind of an industry secret, but there's a second way to charge your battery. Let's say if your charger port on your phone is broken, you can buy what they call an external battery charger. These are very hard to find in the United States. As a matter of fact, The Cellphone Broker is one of the only retailers in the United States that carries these. As you see, it has two little metal prongs right here on the device, and what you're going to do with those metal prongs is line them up with the positive and negative terminals right here on your battery. As you can see, on any battery, it has a bunch of positive and negative terminals, so you're going to take one of those and plug it into there, and you're going to make sure that it's the right one and line it up. it doesn't matter what side goes to the positive and what side goes to the negative because it'll all...it has a transistor in here that'll automatically switch, you know, if you're...if you're not plugged into the right terminal. From there, what you're going to do is plug that into the wall. And once it's plugged in, you'll see a light right here at the bottom. It'll stay on constant. Once the...once the battery has a full charge, this'll start blinking. So as you can see, this guy right here is blinking constantly different colors. So it's kind of like a rainbow. That means that it's charging. This one right here, as you can see, it has just a solid green light right here at the bottom. That means that it's done charging. Green means it's done.
