"Thinking about starting a fund-raiser and not quite sure how to go about doing it? The first thing you need to do is to cast a vision. Cast a vision because you are going to need people to help you in raising funds for your particular organization or your particular event, and so once you are able to cast a vision and and share what it is that you are trying to accomplish you can not only get people to help you but then that helps when you are attempting to raise funds from particular people that you are looking to donate to your organization. And you need to goal. Set some type of goal because it really makes no sense to say we are raising funds but then we have no particular goal we are just going to raise until we see fit, but have a goal that way you can properly relate to the people that are helping you that are assisting you in the fund-raising so they have something to shoot for. And also so when you are talking to people trying to receive funds they see that you have some predetermined plan."
