A lot of things that you can do, just naturally to prevent dry mouth, some of the things that are just very, very simple, just staying hydrated. Not get overly dehydrated do to extra sports, or being sick, and things like that. Also, simple things like smoking, alcohol consumption, salty foods. All these things also cause dry mouth, and just to prevent it, just kind of keep that in moderation. Probably the simplest thing, preventing dry mouth, some good old fashioned water. There are also other things over the counter. You've got things that you can spray, Zero Lube. Zero Lube is one, Bio Teen is another. Just to use, to prevent, to keep your mouth moist, and basically cause artificial saliva. There's also some medication that you can take. Pilocarpine is one of those, that basically you take as a tablet form. And simple, another thing of just being able to rub a little Vaseline on the inside of your mouth, around your lips, and gums there also, for people that are mouth breathers. So if you have any other questions about dry mouth, and how to prevent it, you can feel free to call me. Larry Klein, here in St. Petersburg, Florida.
