Hi, I'm Dave from Singh Technologies, and we're going to go over a couple of issues with the Rock Band game and controllers themselves. The most common problem that I've run in to with Rock Band is the drum pads. And what happens is the sensitivity on one of the drums will be, you'll have to hit a whole lot harder or it doesn't work at all. And if you look on the manufacturers stickers that are on the box, it says do not take these back to where you brought them from. I recommend going to your local service center. This is definitely not a novice repair, but you can do it if you want to, if you don't want to pay the money or go in to the service center. There's four screws on the bottom of the drum pad, and there's a sensor inside of there, and it either has broken wires or it is pulled far away from the actual drum pad. If you could take paper and fold it up under the sensor and then screw it back together, that moves the sensor closer to the pad, and that will make it so that you don't have to hit it quite so hard. But like I said, if you open it up, you're avoiding the warranties, and it's definitely not for a novice.
