This is John Pinelli, financial representative talking to you today about Medicare dental benefits. If you're eligible to apply for Medicare, it is possible that you will receive dental benefits through Medicare, however the dental benefits provided by Medicare aren't very extensive. They're very limited in fact. Now this may include procedures that are deemed a medical necessity for example jaw realignment or major procedures that would be considered necessary for an individual to continue their daily life. Procedures such as basic cleanups, fillings, more of the basic procedures would not be covered through Medicare. So if you have Medicare it may be a good idea to supplement that with some dental coverage that would cover things like basic checkups, cleanings and fillings because that's what most dental care does include. So this has been John Pinelli, financial representative talking to you about Medicare dental coverage.
