Hi, I'm Noah. And today I'm going to tell you about what a sound card looks like. From the outside of your computer, you'll be able to recognize your sound card. Because it's where your speakers will be plugged into. If the color coding is respected. Then the plug for your speaker should be green. And it's corresponding jack on the sound card should be green, as well. On the inside of the computer. You can see that it's located towards the back. And that it's plugged into the motherboard of the computer. Here we can see that there's a spot for the line-in jack. the spot for the mike-in jack. The spot for the front speaker and a spot for the rear speaker. What's most commonly used on computers is the green plug for the front speaker. Which is generally used for standard computer speakers. And the pink plug for microphone-in. Which is generally used for the microphone of the headset.
