Hi, my name is John Niemira. I wanted to talk to you today about opening a flower shop. Opening a flower shop is a very specialized business. You're going to need to have some experience with a flower shop. Hopefully, you'll understand the industry, and who your customer base would be. A couple of different ways to open a flower store, is look at existing businesses, and what they're selling for, and the reason that they're selling, or open up a new store, a brand new store, it starts from the ground up. It's probably easier, I've found in my experience, to buy an existing business. You'll learn more about the business that way, you have a base of customers to work from. You hopefully have a good reputation in that area, and you know the business has been there for awhile. You can look at their books, to find out how successful they have been, what the problems they have had, or just the overall condition of the business. The logistics of starting from the ground up, could be complicated. You'll need to get a business license, you'll need to do a marketing plan, and a business plan. You need to make sure, that in your neighborhood, that you plan to open this business, it could sustain a business like this. If you need anymore information, on this subject or any other subject in the business field, my email address is,
