HI everyone, my name is Isabelle. I am a Nutrition Consultant in the Tampa Bay area and today we're going to learn why white tea is good for you. I have a glass just in front of me for demonstration purposes and I have some in early moment; but why tea is good for you because it is a powerful antioxidant. What that means is that, it helps protect the cells inside your body from oxidation. Let me give you an example. Imagine that this apple is a cell. Okay. There is skin here to protect the cell; outer layer that protects the cell. Let's say I cut the apple open or I put a ding on it, what's going to happen. You've seen it many times, I'm sure; yes, it's going to become brown. That is oxidation from the air. The same thing happens with the cells when we eat garbage foods, junk food, it attacks the cells and it damages them. So, white tea is an antioxidant; it prevents that oxidation from happening. If your cells are strong, your immune systems is strong. So white tea helps fight disease and keeps, you know, all the germs away. It also helps with your digestive tract. And those are the three main benefits of white tea. So I encourage you to drink some and if you're caffeine sensitive, it is readily available at any supermarket, caffeine free. And that is it. I hope you learn something new today and I look forward to speaking with you really soon. You take care.
