Hi everyone, my name is Isabelle. I am a nutrition and wellness consultant in the Tampa Bay area, and today we're going to learn some herbal remedies to help with insomnia. There's many reasons why some people can't sleep, so you probably need to kind of look in to those, and if you have chronic insomnia, you probably want to talk to your doctor about this. But for the time being, I want to give you some tools that are readily available to you right in your kitchen area. A good idea before you go to bed, you can have a glass of milk and a banana. Those two combined, especially hot milk, will help calm your body and prepare you for a good night sleep. Number two, you will want to eat foods that are high in ingredients that will help with sleeping. And two things that work very well, that calm the senses and help sleep are chamomile and lavender, and fortunately those two come readily available in form of teas that you can drink either hot or cold, and there's no caffeine in those teas, so you can drink it through out the day, and right before you go to bed. They also come in terms, in forms, I'm sorry, of essential oils. And what you would do is either just put some a, a few drops in a piece of cloth or a cotton swab, and then you can just inhale a little bit like this, or put a few drops on your pillow, and that will help you have a good night sleep. A thing to keep in mind as well is melatonin, which is a hormone that helps with the secadine cycle. What that is is a sleep-wake cycle. If that is disturbed, you're not going to be able to have a good night sleep. So, you can take some supplements, and I would recommend something called Sleep Now, distributed by Herbal Life International. And, if you're interested in getting some, contact me directly, I can ship those to your home. And what you would do is take one to two tablets before you go to bed. And they are very small, I'll try to open one here for you so that you can see. One, I would start with one before you go to bed, and if that is not enough, then you can got to two before you go to bed. It is not something that you get addicted to. It is readily available to use with water, and it has absolutely no addiction effects, or no side effects. So that's it.
