Hi, my name is Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to show you how to create an interactive website. Let's go to our computer and we're going to make a website whereby the person who visits that site can easily interact with you as the creator. We'll do send Word; let's go to all programs; Microsoft Office; let's go to Microsoft Office Word. Now what we're going to do is we're going to put a couple links on the site for the person to basically go to maybe different branches of your company and also the link to contact the web master by email, which is going to be our interactive element. So let's just type our company name. We'll make that a little bit larger. Let's put just some basic text here. Now, if I have a link here, you can visit our other company by clicking here. Now let's highlight this clicking here and we're going to insert a hyper-link into that. Just go to the insert tab and then links and click on hyper-link. Now it's going to give you a lot of options here for what you could type, but I just want to type in the name of a website; let's say, google.com and say okay. So we now have a hyper-link in our document with whereby the person visiting would click there to go to our other department or page; which is going to Google right now. So let's say to email the web master, click here. Now let's again highlight the click here and we're going to insert now an email link which is a little different from a regular hyper-link. Just again, select hyper-link; but here we want to select email address. And let's type in the name of the web master as email address that we like them to email to and where you can actually put a subject or you can leave that out; I just put, "I like your website" as the subject. Just click okay. So now we have two links for interacting by going to our different company page and by emailing the web master. Let's save this as on other format and we want to choose to save it as a web page. It's going to save this is my company; let's save that. Now let's go to Word saving the document and we will find, thisismycompany.htm. Now you can click those links; that one there will take us to Google and this other one will open whatever email client we have available and we'll email the web master. My name is Dave Andrews and I've just showed you how to create an interactive website.
