Hi. This is Rachael Richardson with Nutrolution Inc., in South Beach, Florida. In this clip, we're talking about how the Atkins diet works. And, I have, not the actual Atkins diet book, the Diet Revolution, but I have a book her that was written by Dr. Atkins, and actually who is a very, very brilliant nutritional doctor. You know, and, so the Atkins diet works like this. Basically it works to cut all the incoming carbohydrates into the body, and as a result, the body starts to change it's way that it metabolizes. And because it's not getting any carbohydrates which are a primary energy source, it actually starts to go into the fat cells which is stored energy, and removes the fat, converts it into glucose, which becomes our energy that we would get from let's say some potato chips, or some cereal, or other carbohydrate rich foods. So that's the way the Atkins diet works to help to burn fat, and maintain good energy, and create better health. There are some flaws, so don't run out and buy the book and follow it to the T.
