"Hi, I'm Kelli. I'm an aesthetician and makeup artist at Ulta Salon and Cosmetics and I'm going to tell you how you can prevent razor bumps under the arms. The first thing that you want to do before you actually shave the underarm area is to use some sort of body scrub. This is an acne body scrub. It's also a body wash. So this is anti-bacterial and it's also going to help to exfoliate, so it's going to help the the hair actually stand up better so you'll be able to get a cleaner shave, a closer shave. And it's also going to help to pull any impurities and dead skin out of the pore that could lead to maybe an ingrown hair or informat, inflammation or a razor bump. So after you're exfoliated and you rinse that off, you can go ahead and shave and then after you shave, you would want to follow up with either something like an acne body spray. This is going to help to basically kill that acne bacteria and it's going to help to reduce any inflammation or you can get something such as Tend Skin which is, basically is a topical treatment to help with ingrown hairs and razor bumps. So you would want to treat the area with that and that's going to prevent razor bumps and ingrown hairs from forming. So those are some things that you can do to prevent razor bumps under the arms."
