"There's many ways to rig a saltwater fishing pole. Today I'm going to show you how to make a basic dropper loop rig which you'll find useful in many saltwater fishing situations. What you're going to want to do first is run your line through your guides, flip your bail back over. Now the first thing you're going to want to do is just a simple overhand knot loop just taking the doubled over line in your hand like this and just making one overhand knot just like that. The next thing you're going to want to do is two dropper loops. OK, so measure about a foot and a half from your bottom loop then you're going to make a second loop in the line about that size. And then what you're going to want to do is twist the line together about 4 or 5 times. Once you've done that, take the bottom part of your loop and put it through. Pull it out with your teeth and pull together as you pull back slightly with your teeth, now you have your first dropper loop. You're going to want to do the same exact thing a second time. Now you want to attach your hardware. What comes first is your sinker, the size is going to depend on the depth you're fishing and the tide, but what you do is go back to your bottom loop, close it down and just put it through the sinker, pull it out and go right through the bottom. Makes it easy in case you get tangled to take your sinker off if you're tangled with another fisherman. Then you want to take two hooks, you obviously want to be careful anytime you're using hooks. Take the first, you're going to put it on the same way that you put the sinker on by cinching down the line and then putting it through the eye of the hook, pulling it out and then putting it around the hook just like that. And then just do your same with your other dropper loop. And there you have basic dropper loop rig for saltwater fishing."
