During 2008, according to MSCI, Pakistan was the third best performing country in terms of investment results in the world. Have you made the decision to try and participate in that growth and are looking to buy Pakistani stocks? Hi, this is Roger Groh of Groh Asset Management. The question is: How do you do that? It's not going to be for the faint-hearted. Clearly, this is a country with many problems at many levels, whether they're the political issues that are going on that you read about in the paper every day to the currency problems that exist. This is not for the faint-hearted. One of the ways that you can get information on companies to actually invest in Pakistan is to go online to Karachi Stock Exchange. I believe it's kse.com/pak. Up will come a list of companies within various industry groups. And from there, you can click on them to go back to their websites to begin to do your homework as to what you should buy or sell. Again, I warn you: This is not for the faint-hearted. This is for dedicated Pakistani investors. It would also make sense to have somebody help you who knew what was going on in Pakistan in the investing area. That might mean that you invest in Pakistan through a mutual fund or it might mean that you invest in Pakistan through an ETF or other group like that where somebody else is making the investment decisions for you as to what to actually buy or sell.
