My name is Bill Rae. I'm with Alumni Financial Services. I've been in the finance and the business world for well over 20 years. Today, we're going to talk about changing factors in a business investment. In the business world, there are so many things that can change that you, as a business owner -- an investor -- should be constantly looking for. Let's take a look at, say, the business's past. What has changed from last year to this year? Has our market changed? Has our customer base changed? Are there new laws on the books? What about taxes? Are the regulations changing? Is it more tax favorable or are the taxes not as favorable? There are so many factors out there that one has to be aware of. You need to stay alert all the time. Don't go to sleep because so many things can change. What was hot yesterday can be as cold as ice today, and what is cold as ice today could be a hot tamale tomorrow. The environment changes constantly, so you don't need to be on it 24/7, but I wouldn't sleep through it, either. Stay abreast of changing factors via newspaper, the Internet. Stay involved with networking. Listen to people in the business environment. Don't panic, but just keep abreast. There's so many factors that can...that can affect your business investment -- interest rates, where people are going, trends. My name is Bill Rae, I'm with HBW, and we're helping you build wealth.
