My name is Christine Marquette and I'm a registered and licensed dietitian with Marquette Nutrition and Fitness and I'm going to talk to you about meal replacement shake reviews. There is actually a lot of different websites where you can get actual reviews on various meal replacements. There is a wide variety of meal replacement shakes and they can be used for a wide variety of conditions. For example most people would use a meal replacement shake to lose weight. The very first one that came out on the market was Slim Fast many years ago but in this day and age some people use them to gain weight, not just to lose weight. You will see a lot of body builders or other athletes who will actually be using meal replacement shakes to put on weight, to gain weight, to build muscle so there is a couple of different things to keep in mind what are your goals, what do you want to use a meal replacement shake for. Depending on what your goals are you can find different websites. For example if you are looking to gain weight you can go to various muscle building websites and it will give you a various listing of products whether it is EAS products, Myoplex, Twin Labs, whatever they will have the most common meal replacement shakes. They are used for gaining weight where you can actually read the product description, you can read peoples' opinions on how it tasted, how well it mixed, what the texture looked like but by the same token if you are looking to lose weight you can go to many different weight loss sites and get peoples' opinion on the various weight loss meal replacement shakes whether it is Slim Fast or Okoshi Go Lean Shakes or even some stores that have their own brand of Slim Fast, their own store brand of meal replacement shakes. The actual content will vary somewhat too whether it is a weight loss shake or it's a body building shake. Usually the body building shakes will have much higher levels of protein in it. They all are generally fortified with a wide variety of vitamins and minerals so from that perspective they will be similar. The calorie content will also be very different and again if it is for somebody who is trying to gain weight it is going to be a much higher calorie level than if it is somebody that is trying to lose weight so that is something that you will want to look at. But as far as the taste it is very subjective. Not everybody is going to think that the same thing tastes great, however, you can get a general idea if a lot of people or if the majority of the people say something tastes good then more than likely you are probably going to agree with that as well particularly if it is a flavor that you already like so that's just a little bit of information for you on reviews of meal replacement shakes.
