Hi my name is Rachael Richardson and I'm with Nutrolution in Miami Beach, Florida. In this clip we are talking about what foods release fat burning hormones and actually there is a special macronutrient which the nutrient protein that comes in things like this protein powder that when you eat just pure protein actually your body is stimulated to produce glucagon and glucagon is a hormone that actually helps your body to take fat and to turn it into energy actually so our fat is actually just stored energy and it is waiting to be tapped and the only way that we can tap it is if we have glucagon in our system and the only way we can get glucagon in our system is if we keep our blood sugar levels not very low but stable and not high and exercise and eating protein as well stimulates glucagon.
