Hi my name is Rachael Richardson and I'm with Nutrolution in Miami Beach, Florida. In this clip we are talking about foods that contain magnesium. At first I just want to share with you how important and special of a mineral magnesium is. I personally take it supplementally every day to help with relaxation of my muscles and my nervous system and that is what we all need magnesium for. One of the functions that we need magnesium for is also involved in brain function and just generally maintaining good healthy tissue in terms of muscle tissue so it actually helps in reducing blood pressure by relaxing the tissue around the aorta and all the other arteries of the system. So getting back to foods that are rich in magnesium focusing on really getting magnesium from your nuts and your seeds, your green vegetables and your meats and your proteins so these are a couple examples of some seeds. These are sunflower seeds that you can add to any salad or other dishes that you create. These are actually papitas or pumpkin seeds and these are delicious. These are also rich in zinc and so just think of your seeds and nuts as being rich storage sites for all your different minerals including magnesium. This has been Rachael with Nutrolution in Miami Beach, Florida.
