Video Transcript

"Hi this is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg with Miami Dog Training in Miami, Florida. In this clip we're going to talk about how to leash train your puppy. Once again as soon as their first interaction happens with us they begin learning. So we're better off teaching right from the start. And with a puppy, especially a puppy, this is a good sized puppy, there's no problem with using a choker and used correctly he's going to get all the right signs and all the right signals at all the right times and he's going to be praised at all the right times. So first I want to put my choker on the dog, I want to make sure that I'm reading P if I was facing the dog. I'm going to put the choker on and I'm going to start walking and he's going to come along. If he doesn't, and see he's pulling back, I'm going to give him a little tug and then the leash again gets loose when he's walking so there's no tension when the dog's walking. Alright, if he stops and I'm walking and I keep walking, he gets a little tug from the leash. Once again this is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg with Miami Dog Training."
