This is financial adviser Patrick Munro talking about managing CD investment accounts. CDs or certificates of deposit are available at banks and other financial institutions. And managing them really involves the passage of time and tracking the passage of time. If you have a series of certificates of deposit, they will come due at selected periods of time and you have to be there to renew the CD when it does come available. So you're constantly vigilant...looking at the different rates as a pop-up, and you have to always look forward at the emerging rates of return in the marketplace to see how you're going to place your next certificate of deposit when it does come up because you must park this money on a timely basis once it becomes available. And these are the primary ways that one would manage their investments in the world of certificate of deposits and how to manage an account that's tied into that strategy. This is financial adviser Patrick Munro talking about how to manage certificates of deposit.
