This is financial adviser Patrick Munro talking about my favorite subject, what is a bull market. A bull market is a market that's full on and moving upwards on a regular basis, people are investing, the economy is moving along very well. And investing is just the thing to do. Everyone is doing it and you have to be very, very cautious though in a market such as this because what will happen is people get exuberant about stocks and stocks become overvalued and as a result they can tank almost overnight. So somewhere between a bull and then the opposite of a bull market of course is a bear market where things are in a downward spiral, that's the place that you should live and be constantly vigilant about the stocks that you're invested in. Make sure that they hold current value, that they're paying good dividends and that you are able to contribute to their future as well using your budgetable dollars. And this will contribute towards you having a very positive retirement in the future, hopefully in a bull market. This is Patrick Munro talking about what is a bull market.
