Hi I'm Ben from the Cellphone Broker in San Jose, California. Today I'm going to show you how to charge your cellphone without using the battery charger. You might not think it's possible and quite frankly I really didn't either until I found out about this small product. It's called Cellboost. Cellboost was available quite some time ago at RadioShack and different electronic stores, however lately I haven't really seen a lot of these in the stores and the ones that I do see in the stores don't have support for some of the newer phones that are available, they don't have the connections for the new phones. This device plugs right into the bottom of your cellphone and it plugs right into the charge port and then from there you'll be able to give your cellphone about 60 minutes of talk time. You'll get about another hour of added talk time under your cellphone battery. However this product is disposable. You use it once, you throw it away. So it's not really good for the environment. So it's also kind of expensive, when they were popular they were selling for about 10 dollars each. So Cellboost is kind of not a good investment. If you need to have cellphone power on the go, you should be carrying around a portable travel home charger or you should have a car charger available so that you can use it in your car. These products aren't really reliable and they are pretty pricey so it's best to maybe possibly buy a second battery for your cellphone so that you don't run out of power when you need power most.
