Hello, my name is Virginia Kelley and I'm here at Encore Gymnastics and I'm going to give you advice on how to make training fun. One of the reasons why most people don't train in any kind of athletic activity or physical activity is because it's hard work and that's OK. What you want to do is find the type of training that feels good for you. It's important that you enjoy what you're doing. So if you're out there jogging and you don't like to jog, that's probably not the kind of training you should look into, maybe you should look into doing some swimming or finding some kind of sport that you might be interested in like gymnastics or rock climbing or dance or boxing or any number of physical activity can be your training, it really just depends on what feels good to you, what is fun. So making sure you're trying a bunch of different sports is a good way to find out how to make training fun. It's also important that when you do find the type of sport or activity that you want to do, give it a shot, give it a reasonable chance. You don't want to try it one time and think oh my gosh, that was too hard, I don't want to do it. Give it about a week. A month would actually be better because no one's going to be very good at what they do in the very beginning and your body is not used to it, your heart and lungs are not conditioned for it yet, your muscles aren't conditioned for it yet so it's going to be tough. So if it seems like something you might enjoy doing, go for it, give it a little while, your body will get used to it and then all of the sudden you're working out and you don't even realize it because you're actually enjoying what you're doing. So I think the most important part about making training fun is finding the kind of training that interests you. So good luck, go find that training and have fun.
