"Hi, I'm Donna Barnes. I'm a life and relationship coach and the owner of NY Dating Coach in New York City. In this clip we'll talk about what a teenager should wear on a first date. Now, I think being that you're still just a teenager, nothing too sexy because I think you know at a teenage age, your hormones are raging as it is. So I think if you dress a little too sexy or a little too provocative, you can put yourself in a compromised position and you really want to be safe above anything else. So you know, jeans are cool. Wear jeans. You can wear a cute little top with it or something. I think nowadays skirts are a little too short. That might be fine out with the girls and in a situation, but not out alone with a guy. Honestly, you don't want to put yourself in that situation. If it gets a little bit too worked up, then it's a lot easier when you have more clothes on to defend yourself with. Hey, not to say that they're going to be inappropriate. They may not be, but why tempt them. Why give them any kind of bad thoughts that they shouldn't have. Just be fun, but be sweet. You know, you can wear a pretty dress. Make sure it's a little bit longer and not too sexy. You have plenty of time for that. I promise you. This is Donna Barnes from New York City."
