Hello, my name is Gabriela Garzon at G.G. Image and Etiquette Consulting in Miami, Florida. In this clip I'm going to talk about how to buy a red cocktail dress. The first thing you have to know is that a cocktail dress it's supposed to be short. Generally speaking it's a short dress. Now, if you want to wear a long dress that's fine but that's a little more dressy. I would recommend sort of like a dress that is not too short. That it looks nice and that it has a nice fitting on your body which of course you have to work with your silhouette you know to just find the best type of dress that's going to go with your body type. Now, the other thing that you really, really, really I think is the most important thing when you're going to buy a red cocktail dress is to know the shade of the red. That's another thing that's going to go with your skin and your overall colors. You have to remember that different types of reds. We have something like a tobacco red that is a little more you know like darker kind of like brown looking. We have a more like bright type of red. We have this type of red which is orangey and something that is a little more pink. Now, once you get to know the right red that goes for you, you can just go ahead and find any type of short dress that will look good for any occasion. Once again, this is Gabriela Garzon at G.G.
