"This is John Pinelli, Financial Representative, talking to you today about getting Teacher Artist Insurance. Teachers, artists, this could include people who are freelance professionals. People who aren't making a stable sort of income. Students, artists, etcetera. Now, it's important for these people, while although they may not be earning a steady stream of income, to obtain insurance that will cover them from catastrophic loses or health issues that could result in major economic loss for them. The most important thing to generally obtain would be some sort of health coverage. Basic coverage can be obtained for fairly affordable rates. Generally speaking, the more affordable the coverage is in terms of premiums paid, the higher deductible you're going to pay into the policy, and the higher copay that you're going to pay, potentially, as well, depending on the type of plan. These plans can offer fairly comprehensive coverage, or fairly limited coverage, just depending on what amount you're willing to pay. But it is important to obtain some sort of coverage to prevent you from these catastrophic loses. In addition, it is recommended to purchase some sort of disability income insurance, which could provide you income in the case that you're unable to perform your job or duties, that would prevent you from furthering your education, etcetera. Life insurance may be something that you want to look into if you have dependents, kids, family to support that depends on your income or your ability to earn income as well. So this has been John Pinelli talking to you today about teacher artist insurance."
