"Hi, I'm Kelli. I'm an aesthetician and makeup artist at Ulta Salon and Cosmetics, and I'm going to talk to you a little bit about what I think the best suntan lotion is. I'm not a really big believer in suntan lotions because I don't believe that people should lay in the sun to get tan or go tanning or anything like that because it's not really good for you. I can tell you what I feel like the best sunscreen is, but I feel like, Dermalogica makes some really great sunscreens. You can still get a tan when you're wearing a sunscreen. Basically, what sunscreen does is it helps to block any harmful UVA and UVB rays, so it's going to prevent you from getting burnt and it's also going to prevent you from aging -- from the harmful UVA rays that 90 percent of all premature aging and skin cancer is caused by those UVA rays. So to actually put on a suntan lotion and go and lay in the sun, you're basically opening yourself up to wrinkles, loss of elasticity, discolorations, hyperpigmentation, and skin cancer. So you should definitely...if you do want to lay in the sun, you should definitely make sure that you're protecting yourself with a sunscreen."
