Types of Musical Instruments

"Hey, I'm Brian Medeiros. I'm going to explain some different types of musical instruments that there are. There's lots and lots of different kinds of musical instruments obviously. Some of the more popular ones being for example band instruments. Wood wind instruments like this saxophone make up a typical band, maybe a jazz band, or school marching band, or anything like that. You've got wood wind instruments, brass instruments like trumpets, and tubas, and trombones. Other examples of wood wind instruments would be flutes, and clarinets, and obos. Other instruments included string instruments. This is a guitar. String instruments also include you know orchestra instruments like cellos, violins, things like that. You've got your typical acoustic guitar here. There's also electric guitars, electric bases, that basically make up popular bands today. Other instruments include electronic instruments like this synthesizer. Has all kinds of different sounds, and a lot of times you'll have banks of sounds in these things that can play you know all these instruments that I've explained. Also, if you would include DJ equipment as a musical instrument because you're basically playing music using them. You've got turntables, CD players, and things like that that can also be counted as musical instruments. Those are all different kinds of musical instruments."
