"Hi, my name is Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to show you how to upgrade Windows. What we're going to do to upgrade our Windows is connect to Microsoft's website which they periodically provide updates and fixes for any problems that they have encountered on their website. So let's go to our computer and basically I'm going to click on my Start button. I'm going to open up Internet Explorer. Now the address that we want to go to in order to upgrade is update.microsoft.com. Now on Windows Vista, this automatically opens up your control panel in Windows Update. So all we have to do to install the updates that are available for this PC is you can see there are two important updates available. I'm just going to click on install updates. Now what this is going to do is download those updates from Microsoft then install them on my computer. Some updates have license terms that you have to agree to such as this one. Just click OK on any of those that might pop up. Now you have to be the administrator to continue. And I'm presented with a progress bar here that tells me it's downloading the updates that are available and is going to install them. My name is Dave Andrews and I've just showed you how to upgrade your computer."
