Hi this is Rachael Richardson with Nurtolution in Miami Beach, Florida. In this clip we're talking about how does the digestive system work. And the digestive system is a wonderful organ in our bodies, it's a organ system, and it's where food meets our bodies and it's where we assimilate all of our nutrients that we need to survive, to live, to thrive in life. And so it's a very, very important organ system and it does actually get neglected quite often because it's an organ system that's responsible for certain functions that we don't feel are as glamorous as say our cardiovascular system and our lungs and certain systems like that. But it is incredibly important none the less. And it works by basically, we obviously put food into our body through our mouth, and we chew it, we masticate it. We get enzymes throughout our system that are actually built into different stages throughout our stomach and throughout our intestinal tract. And those enzymes are there to help breakdown foods. Meanwhile, in our digestive system we have bacteria throughout, which are also helping to breakdown and assimilate nutrients. I brought with me today actually a healthy bacteria, it's called a probiotic. And you've probably heard of them before. But these are a big, big part of having a healthy functioning digestive system. This has been Rachael, in Miami Beach, Florida.
