Hello, my name is Carole Wilbourn. I'm the cat therapist here in New York City. In this clip I'm going to talk about signs of cat constipation. If you see your cat straining in the litter box when he is trying to defecate this can be a sign of constipation. Or if your cat hasn't had a bowel movement for a few days. This is another sign. Your cat's mood may become angry or very sad or aloof. Because your cat is feeling uncomfortable. Ew, it's no fun to be constipated. So what you might do is add a high fiber food to your cat's diet. You could try a pad of butter. Or there's even a gel that some cats love to lick off your finger or even right from the tube. But to be sure, if in doubt if your cat is constipated do consult your vet. Thank you. Once again this is Carole Wilbourn, the cat therapist in New York City.
