"Hi, I'm Donna Barnes. I'm a life and dating coach, the owner of NY Dating Coach, here in New York City. In this clip, we'll talk about how to get his attention. Now, assuming that you have some sort of contact with him, at the office, or through friends and whatever, I would say, find out the things that interests him. What does he like to do? Is he a sports fan? Who's his team? What are the things that interest him, that you hear him talking about? and do a little research on that, and be able to hold an interesting conversation with him about that. Guys really like people that they can interact with, and have a fun time with, so if you can show him that you enjoy the same things that he does. Don't be phony. Try to genuinely find an interest in something that he's interested in, or maybe you already do, which is a great launching place to come from, and then initiate a conversation. Don't be afraid to walk up and say, Hey, I saw it was a great game last night. He'll be really impressed. Guys do love to talk about sports with the woman in their life, if they're interested, if they're into sports. Maybe he is more of a music guy. If he's always got his iPod on, ask him what's on the iPod. Find something that's interesting to him. This is Donna Barnes, in New York City."
