"This is financial adviser, Patrick Munro, talking about how to fight home foreclosures. Well, home foreclosures is a result of the sub prime mortgage crisis in many of the problems that have occurred in America. And foreclosures are now a major, major problem for banks, and the economy in general. if you're fortunate enough to have a home, make sure it's a home that you afford, and that your monthly payment is not more than forty percent of your overall gross income. Also, make sure you pay your mortgage payment on time. Every month it should be a priority for you to do so. Most mortgage coupons say the payment is due on the first, it becomes delinquent if it's not received by the fifteenth at the bank. You must fight to keep your home, if you run into difficulties where you've lost your job, and you're not able to make the mortgage payment. Certainly call a bank immediately and communicate with them as their partner. they appreciate that. They don't want your home back. What they'll do is do what's called a work out. And work with you so that you can stay in the home by communication is key. This is Patrick Munro showing how you can fight home foreclosures."
