"When dealing with complexion issues such as sun damage, sun spots, hyperpigmentation, melasma, pregnancy mask, anything that makes your skin tone uneven, and you don't have time to go to the spa, there are definite ways to be able to address these issues at home. One of the things that you want to do is make sure that you're getting the proper ingredients, so we want to look for things with kojic acid, an acid that's derived from mushrooms that actually is going to help to lighten and brighten the skin, and also botanicals like licorice and bilberry extract. Today, we are going to show Stephanie how to use an exfoliating brightening scrub, and this scrub works in two ways. It actually has scrubby particles in it that are going to remove dead skin cells and debris, and it has all those botanicals that we talked about...bilberry, and licorice root, and kojic acid, which are all going to be able to penetrate a lot more deeply because we've taken off that layer of dead skin cells. Use these products together and you're definitely going to see results with lighter, brighter skin at home!"
