And in this clip, we're going to go over what makes a snowboard boot a snowboard boot. First things first, the outside. The outside is a hundred percent water-proof, keeping your feet dry 'cause we do spend our days on the snow. Snow is water...keeps us dry. Next thing, the sole. The sole is very supportive, normally made out of an EVA material. Gives you much traction while you're hiking around the snow. Also, you have three or four different kinds of quick lacing systems, but predominantly, you still have a standard lacing system. On thee inside, you have an internal lace. An internal lace helps keep your ankle cinched in to the heel cup of the boot. Every boot has an internal lace system. Also, you tend to have what some people call an ankle hitch, even though it's high on the shin, thee ankle hitch keeps your heel down. All of our snowboarding boots are insulated, so again, they tend to wet the moisture away from your foot, but also keep you dryer from the exterior elements. When you look inside a snowboard boot, it's also ergonomically made. It's made to fit correctly around your ankle. Try on many different boots when you do go into a snowboard shop. Snowboard, snowboarding boots are the key element. Everybody's foot's different, and there are many different brands out there. Find the one that best fits the uniqueness of your foot.
