Hey, my name's Matt, we're here at Ski N See in Sandy, Utah. We're going to talk a little bit about men's bindings, and women's bindings. Women's bindings are not just men's small bindings. Burton definitely makes, their women's bindings specifically for a woman's foot. They have a narrower heel cup, they flex a little bit softer, because most women are lighter than men, you know, they just make everything a little softer. Women's specific bindings, narrow in the heel, narrow in the foot, and just nice and cozy for the ladies. Men's bindings, there's definitely men's specific bindings, and kid's specific bindings as well. Men's bindings are going to be fit, specifically to go with a man's boot. You know, so you've got generally, obviously, little longer foot on the base plate, little deeper in the heel cup, a little wider, because the men's heels are wider than women's. And also the high backs are going to go up a little bit higher, because women's calves, extend down their leg a little farther. So they put a lower high back on the women's. Taller high back on the men's. Now with that higher high back, what that does, is it translates into instant power transfer onto your heel side edge. So again it's important. If you're a lady, use a lady's binding. If you're a man, use a men's binding. It'll only help your cause.
