"I'm now going to show you how to send a text message from your computer to a cellphone. First step, you need to access your e-mail account and go to compose e-mail. From here, in the to category, you need to type in the cellphone number that you would like to send a text message to and then click the at button and then type in the letters txt, which is short for text and then you put the period after txt and type in the subscriber information. Since I use AT&T, I'm going to type in att and then you hit period again, net, and then go down to the field of where you would type in your e-mail message or in this case, the message that you want to send via text. So I typed in hey, how are you doing. Click send just like you would send an e-mail and as we're going to see on my cellphone here, I'm going to receive a text message here shortly from the computer that I used. Like I just did from the computer on the cellphone you access it just like a regular text message you would receive. Shows you from the e-mail address and the message that I typed in and from there you just sent a text message using your computer."
